Photographing Nicole & Gabriel | A Sweet Family Session
It was such a joy to photograph Nicole and Gabriel last night! Every time I get the chance to capture this sweet duo, I’m reminded just how special they are. Nicole is not only an incredible mama but also a rockstar fourth-grade teacher. She’s got that perfect balance of compassion and “keeping it real” that her students absolutely thrive on. Watching her in action—both in life and motherhood—is always inspiring.
It’s wild to think this was the seventh time I’ve photographed their family! Time truly flies when you’re having fun. Gabriel is already five years old, and it feels like just yesterday I was photographing him as a toddler. Gabe has the kind of smile that lights up every room he walks into, and his sweet spirit is nothing short of contagious. He’s already overcome so much in his little life, and it’s clear he has a future full of adventure, strength, and heart.
I feel so lucky to document these milestones, to freeze these fleeting moments before they pass. I know I’ll look back on these photos with so much gratitude—for the chance to watch Gabriel grow, and to witness the deep love between a mother and her son.
