A Sweet Spring Desert Maternity Session with Chanel and Kevin
I had so much fun photographing Chanel and Kevin’s maternity session! This session was extra special because Chanel isn’t just a client—she’s a dear friend and someone I’ve shared so many memories with. We were once first grade teachers together, and now she’s thriving as an incredible reading specialist at a new school. It has been such a joy to watch her journey—finding love, getting married, and now starting this beautiful new chapter as a mama.
What made this session even more magical was that it took place during Arizona’s rare superbloom. The desert was more alive and beautiful than ever—wildflowers in full bloom, vibrant colors surrounding us, and the softest golden light. It felt like the perfect backdrop to celebrate the new life Chanel and Kevin are about to welcome.
