Kirkpatrick Family | A Sweet Session Full of Love
I had the absolute best time photographing Nikki and her sweet family! Even though we officially met just a few weeks ago during their photo session, it honestly felt like I had known them for years.
That might be because Chanel and I were coworkers and friends for a long time, and she would always tell me the most wonderful things about her sister Nikki, her beautiful niece Stella, and their incredibly close-knit family. I remember hearing all about their fun trips to California and the way they show up for each other in every season—it was clear they shared something really special.
So you can imagine how excited I was when I got an email from Nikki asking me to take their family photos! It felt like everything had come full circle in the sweetest way.
We met at a beautiful park in Phoenix that gave us the most perfect setting—mature trees, sparkling water, and the kind of weather that feels like a little gift from above. It was peaceful, golden, and full of laughter. The love and joy between them were so easy to capture.
I’m so thankful I get to call such an amazing group of people friends in real life—and that I had the honor of freezing a few beautiful moments in time for them. Sessions like this are a sweet reminder of how special family truly is.
